Sandbanks Life intend to give away a luxury £1 million home situated on the Sandbanks peninsula (UK), one of the most expensive and desirable places on earth, for only £25.

A maximum of 52,000 tickets must be sold by 31 July 2009 to give away the top prize.

Despite extending the competition from 31 May to 31 July, according to the statement on the website on 12 August 2009, ticket sales fell "well short" of the 52,000 target. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner one final results are announced at the start of September.
