Oldborough Retreat Devon Property with Fishing

This property prize is perfect as a family home or for any fishing enthusiast. Brian and Wendy Wilshaw are hoping to raise £1.15 million by selling up to 46,000 tickets to give away their home.

In order to become eligible for the prize, players must answer a simple question on the website: "What is the price of an adult full season coarse fishing licence for 2008/2009?". The competition is open to players worldwide and ends as soon as 46,000 tickets have been sold.

Competition Winner

The competition successfully sold out two months before the expected end date in December. However, the Wilshaws were forced to postpone the draw for a full seven months to allow them to complete their discussions with the UK's Gambling Commission. Finally, in May 2009 they were given the green light to proceed and on 22 May the details of the property winner were announced.
